[6/15/2016] After working extensively with it's solution and delivering on various POCs, Intricity is proud to announce its partnership with Snowflake. Snowflake is a Data Warehouse as a Service built from the bottom up to deliver a true elastic cloud computation and storage. "This is the real deal", said Glenn Hillam, Sr Solutions Architect at Intricity. This solution acts as an excellent match to Intricity's Data Warehousing practice. "If you want to understand where the future of data is, look no further than Snowflake," said Jared Hillam EIM Practice Director at Intricity. "The unique mix of elastic scalability and auto-tuning make it a great solution for our customers. We see this as an excellent opportunity to replace clunky DW Appliances. We're excited to pioneer a partnership with such an innovative disruptor."

Intricity DocumentationIntricity has built a DW Cloudification Assessment to determine whether Snowflake would be a viable alternative to existing DW Appliances. "It's not a blanket replacement yet, but for many companies spending massive up front budgets, its a financial reprieve. We help companies figure out if they're well positioned for the move." said Jared.

Netezza, HANA, Oracle, DB2, Teradata, & Greenplum are all good candidates for the Intricity assessment. If you would like to learn more about the DW Cloudification Assessment fill out the form below.
