Dodd-Frank be ready...

The implementation of Dodd-Frank is right around the corner!  This bill is going to require some radical investments in Information Management for the entire Financial Services Community.

On February 6th 2012 Intricity will conduct the first of many Dodd-Frank round table sessions, Hosted by Informatica at their 125 Park Ave location.

During this first session, Intricity will focus on a few specific Bill Titles and their impact on Data and Information Management requirements.  The session is intended to be an open forum as we are all on this boat together.

Arkady Kleyner, a foremost expert in Data and Information Management for the Financial Services space will facilitate these regular sessions.

Today I want to offer up a challenge to all those watching this video. Find something in the room you’re in that has never had any data associated to it. Go ahead look around. Unless you find yourself watching this in the middle of no man’s land, chances are, that a very high percentage of everything around you has been represented by data at some point in its lifecycle. Amazing isn’t it…? So in many ways you can imagine that our digital world of data is a representation of the physical world around us. And indeed it would be nearly impossible for organizations to accurately describe themselves if they didn’t have access to this data today.
